Why Founders Sell

The reasons owners come to us.

Very few founders sell because the business has failed. Most sell because it has succeeded, and the next stage needs something they cannot personally supply - time, capital, a commercial team, or simply the appetite to start again.

We have spent more than two decades inside media and advertising businesses, working alongside owners and their sales teams in over twenty countries. We have seen how these decisions are usually made, and how much of the hesitation is about the process rather than the price.

So we try to make the process the easy part. One counterparty, a confidential conversation, an early and honest read on whether there is a deal, and no obligation if there is not.

Positions we hear regularly

The business is profitable, but growth has plateaued
You are the bottleneck - every decision still comes through you
Traffic and revenue depend on channels you do not control
You want to de-risk and take some money off the table
A good team deserves more resource than you can fund
You are ready for the next thing and want a clean handover

If any of that sounds familiar, a conversation costs you nothing.
